Wow they are really good Ted!
Its cool to see how you go about drawing the characters and garments etc.
Great faces, I like it when people aren't squicky about showing the process - sometimes it seems like brilliant projects just leap perfectly formed from the head of their creator, and it's nice to sometimes see the foundation behind it.
Wow I love your style... :)

Cool Stuff Ted, it's nice to see process;
thanks for sharing!
i love seeing your artwork! under what conditions did you make these? (e.g. sitting at the desk, outside at a park, in the livingroom over the weekend, etc.)

Thanks everyone! I finally bought some software so I can use my old scanner (they had given up making drivers for it once OSX came out). I'll be scanning a lot more stuff from my sketchbooks soon.
emma - I love showing process stuff as much as looking at others process. I learn so much from seeing what comes before the final product.
shiman - these were probably done at home in the morning before work. Back then I had a self-imposed quota of 30 pages a month. I often found myself doing 5 or 6 pages in just one morning. If I was really rolling, sometimes I would even be late for work, but I was definitely warmed up and ready to draw all day once I got there.
very nice.

SWEET! Its great seeing your process...which has already been said, but i will reiterate.... lovely sketches!
wow, I just cant believe how many times have I told mysef "think while you draw!!" and even wrote it next to my sketches. i feel relieved that a great artist like you goes through the same struggle.
Congratulations and I am waiting anxiously for Rose and Isabel II!
