Some comic stuff now



Well, Cora is at a momentary standstill. Here is a page from earlier in the story, a rough with an early color pass. For those familiar with the Rose and Isabel comics, that's Isabel (I need to make her a bit older here) and the pics are of her and Rose as kids.

How long do you spend on these rough layouts?

Thanks Tim -- some pages are easier than others. I would say the roughs take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the complexity of the scene or what needs to be said storywise.

Wow...this is REALLY nice.
I love the clear emotions in her face, yet you can get a good sense that there are multilayered thoughts behind it too...beauty.

Very powerful. I love especially the last two panels (c.u. of photo and her eyes), the juxtaposition really drives that emotion in.
