I haven't had a lot of time to devote to the CORA story lately, but I've been sketching bits and pieces from throughout the story -- nothing that's entirely post-worthy, but for readers of the first two books here's an image of Rose that might make you go "whaa?".

whaa?
Excellent shot!
BTW, thanks for "The Those Guys" shout out in your last post. We will see you at con!
Um... WHAA?
Love the feeling in this one...scary, and a lot of torture in this one....LOVE IT!
hey !
i watched that mostly martha. excellent film. afterwards i thought "the first thing theyll change in the american remake is the other chef wont be italian." aaaaaand .... i was right. they even changed the music hes listening to in the kitchen from dean martin to opera. opera ! the point of the dean martin song was how easy going he was, how he "savoured" the song. opera, bah. stuffy and over done. like this remake will likely be.
and im getting your posts confused - you talked about cormac mcarthys the road and what kind of information you give the audience and what you hold back. but i thought about it during martha because there were numerous times when we were left out of what was going on. like that important phone call she gets - we never heard a word of it ! and it took one fiull hour for the movie to tell us the little girl was marthas neice !
im all for it. i dont want to leave anyone out of whats going on ( in my storytelling ), i dont want to be left out of whats happening in what im watching, but im all for a DELAY in information - grabbing the reigns, as it were - and if you are too then i figure youre on the right track.
Whaa?
I think I MAY know the context.
I'll ask about it later. I caught something re-reading the books, and now I think I smell what your cooking.
Love the suspense in this piece, Ted. Nice job!
oo this looks good keep at it.
I myself have great difficultly keeping in the zone or what ever it's called.
And find that once I've left something alone for too long I don't want to do it any more.
Don't be me finish something
As I said today, I am intriqued.
Can't wait to see what this is about.
